Job summary

The University of Georgia in Savannah area seeks a part-time 4-H Chatham County AmeriCorps State Member for a 12-month term (Sept 1, 2026 – Aug 31, 2027) averaging 20 hours per week. You will deliver 4-H youth programming, recruit volunteers, collect impact data, and support district trainings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• U.S. citizen with proof of citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 4-H positive youth development programming directly to youth.
• Assist with 4-H volunteer recruitment and coordination.
• Track and document data for AmeriCorps performance measures and complete monthly reports.
• Attend trainings and events as required.
