Job summary

The University of Georgia is recruiting a 4-H Chatham County AmeriCorps State Member for a part-time role in the Savannah area. The position delivers 4-H youth programming, supports volunteers, and helps with data collection and reporting.

Some programming may be virtual and transportation to youth is provided. Responsibilities include facilitating 4-H club meetings, preparing students for Project Achievement, attending summer camp, and coordinating community service projects.

Qualifications

• Must commit to part-time AmeriCorps service with evening/weekend hours.
• Deliver 4-H positive youth development programming.
• Assist with volunteer recruitment and coordination.
• Transport youth as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 4-H positive youth development programming directly to youth.
• Facilitate 4-H in-school club meetings and summer activities.
• Prepare students for 4-H Project Achievement and attend camps.
• Design and implement community service projects and base programming.
• Assist with day-to-day activities and data collection.
