Job summary

The University of Georgia is seeking a part-time 4-H Burke County AmeriCorps State Member to deliver 4-H programming directly to youth under the supervision of the County Extension Agent. The role involves facilitating in-school club meetings, preparing students for Project Achievement, attending summer camp, and supporting community service initiatives.

Members will assist with day-to-day activities, recruit volunteers, and ensure transportation for youth.

Qualifications

• Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies: Experience working with youth.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 4-H positive youth development programming directly to youth.
• Facilitate/teach 4-H in-school club meetings and prepare students for 4-H Project Achievement.
• Attend 4-H Summer Camp and design/implement community service projects.
• Assist with other 4-H base programming and day-to-day activities for direct youth services.
• Provide transportation to youth.
