The York County 4-H Program Assistant supports the planning, implementation, and delivery of the York County 4-H youth development program. Working collaboratively with 4-H staff, volunteers, community partners, youth, and families, the Program Assistant helps provide positive, engaging, and educational experiences that support the mission and goals of 4-H.

Working collaboratively with 4-H staff, volunteers, community partners, youth, and families, the Program Assistant helps provide positive, engaging, and educational experiences that support the mission and goals of 4-H. This position assists with 4-H clubs, educational programs, school enrichment, camps, events, competitions, community outreach, volunteer support, and day-to-day program administration. A high school diploma and relevant program experience. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required program experience.
Fundamental working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to apply in varied situations.
Not responsible for supervising employees.
No fiscal responsibility for the department's budget.

Expected Salary Range
$16.00 hr - $18.00 hr
Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
Normal Operations - Required to follow emergency facility closure and modified operations directives, and not normally expected to work on-site during emergency situations.
