Qualifications

• Experience working with diverse populations and developing, training, and recruiting volunteers.
• Strong planning, organizing, and collaborative skills with adult volunteer leaders.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to relate to and understand youth and adults.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating a comprehensive 4‑H program and facilitate Special Interest Programs.
• Recruit, train, and support volunteer leaders to deliver programs effectively.
• Collaborate with advisory committees to identify community needs and opportunities.
• Assist with 4‑H Club administration, school enrichment programs, and county/state events.
• Maintain accurate records of hours and document accomplishments in the Extension Reporting System.
• Support marketing efforts through newsletters, newspapers, Facebook, websites, and other media.
• Travel within the county and occasionally to district and state events.
• Attend evening, night, or weekend events as required.
