Job summary

Ohio State University Extension – Guernsey County seeks an Extension Educators Coordinator to support youth education programs across the county. You will collaborate with office staff, local partners, and volunteers to plan, implement, and evaluate 4-H activities aligned with community needs.

The role requires strong organizational skills, flexibility for evenings/weekends, and experience in data management, volunteer training, and program development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Certification or vocational training may be required.
• 2 years of relevant experience required; 4-6 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and work with office staff, stakeholders, and community members to support youth education programs.
• Assist with office coverage/management, program marketing, and reports.
• Work with adult and youth through school enrichment and Cloverbud programming; manage volunteers and training.
• Data entry, record keeping, recognition, and evaluation to achieve educational goals.
