The Program Coordinator at Rock Eagle 4-H Center is responsible for the coordination of the 4-H Environmental Education program at the 4-H Center. Responsibilities include hiring, training, and supervision of staff, developing curriculum and teaching resources, maintenance of teaching facilities, and promotion and coordination of daily activities of the 4-H Environmental Education program.
Extensive knowledge of Educational and Biological Sciences. Supervise and evaluate a staff of 5 full-time employees and up to 20 seasonal part-time employees. Effective in written and oral communications. Willing to work frequent nights and weekends. Ability to develop web-based, printed, and other media presentations to promote the 4-H Environmental Education program.
Exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures. Walk 3 to 5 miles a day while carrying out duties, often in the rain. Work frequent nights and weekends in supervision responsibilities in the 4-H Environmental Education Program.
