Job summary

Auburn University’s Alabama 4-H program seeks an AmeriCorps member to deliver high-quality, research-based youth development experiences in schools and communities across Alabama. The role focuses on STEM, career exploration, civic engagement, and leadership development for students in grades 4–12.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience engaging youth is a plus.
• Ability to work with school and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Delivers 4-H programming in school-day and after-school settings across Alabama.
• Facilitates hands-on, experiential learning to build life skills such as communication and teamwork.
• Collaborates with Extension staff, educators, and partners to implement priority programs.
• Recruits and engages youth participants and supports volunteer involvement.
• Keeps program data and reporting to meet AmeriCorps requirements and measure impact.
