Job summary

AmeriCorps & Senior Corps seeks dedicated individuals to implement 4-H programming in Alabama schools and after-school settings, engaging youth in STEM, environmental education, healthy living, and leadership activities.

You will work with County 4-H Agents, recruit youth participants, collect program data, and support statewide initiatives. This role offers an education award upon completion and a living allowance, fostering professional growth in education and public service.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct service by delivering 4-H programming in school-day and after-school settings.
• Programming areas may include STEM, agriculture, environmental education, healthy living, civic engagement, leadership development, and workforce readiness.
• The AmeriCorps Member will facilitate hands-on learning opportunities to build life skills, collaborate with County 4-H Agents, recruit and engage youth participants, assist with program data collection and reporting, and support 4-H events or other statewide initiatives that enhance youth engagement.
