The Home for Little Wanderers in Windsor, NH is seeking Youth Congregate Residential Counselors for a 4-day work week with set schedule, including afternoons/evenings and some weekends/holidays. Responsibilities include mentoring youth, supporting routines, and guiding emotional regulation to promote positive decisions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 21 years of age or older required.
• One of the following: two years of full-time experience with children (paid/volunteer); seven years of parenting experience; associate’s degree or higher with at least 12 credits in human services or related field.

Responsabilités

• Build mentoring relationships with youth.
• Support daily routines and skill-building.
• Coach youth in emotional regulation and positive decision-making.
• Participate in recreational and outdoor activities.
• Work as part of a supportive team; crises handled with teamwork and support.
