Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Full Time Family Nurse Practitioner to serve Dot Foods employees at the Mt. Sterling, IL Health Center. You’ll provide comprehensive primary care across the lifespan, women's health, and occupational health in a supportive clinical practice.

The role offers a 4-day schedule and opportunities to grow skills with training in women’s health and occupational medicine; DOT certification is required within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• RN and NP licensure required.
• ANCC/AANP national certification required.
• MSN in Nursing preferred or transcripts provided if degree does not specify nursing.
• BLS hands-on training required; ACLS may be needed depending on contract.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
• Conduct procedures: injections, suturing, wound care, infection management.
• Develop care plans, document progress, ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, health maintenance and development.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians/teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribe or recommend treatments including meds.
• Refer patients to specialists as needed.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
• Educate and coach nursing staff on best practices.
