Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program in the United States. You will apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice, under a preceptor, and follow a structured training roadmap to prepare for a Pharmacist role in CVS Health stores.

You will support the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment, follow SOPs, and develop clinically and technically.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or accepted to an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern and/or technician licensure as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on KLEs and increasing responsibilities in the pharmacy.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Operate under SOPs and demonstrate empathy and care in patient interactions.
• Maintain agency by following regulations and policies, and travel to stores to support shifts as needed.
