Parker Hannifin's Parflex Division is hiring a Yarn Braider & Winder Operator for the 3rd shift. The role involves setting up and operating yarn braiding machines, moving bobbins, and maintaining product quality in a manufacturing environment.

Pay is $19.46 per hour with a $2 shift premium, plus overtime after training. You'll monitor yarn tension, perform tool changes, and document results while contributing to continuous improvement and teamwork with shift colleagues.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate yarn braiding machines to transfer yarn from spools to bobbins.
• Transfer full bobbins to braider decks and remove empty bobbins; perform splicing as needed.
• Monitor bobbin footage, yarn condition and tensions.
• Change tooling and gears to ensure proper dimensions.
• Observe payoffs, adhesive application, braid pattern, inking, and take-ups during braiding.
• Record quality checks and ensure quality standards.
• Package product including cartons and spools as required.
• Contribute to process improvements and meet plant objectives.
• Participate in area/process teams; report irregularities to supervisor.
