Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation, Parflex Division, is seeking a Yarn Braider & Winder Operator for a 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 10pm-6am). Pay is $19.46/hour plus a $2/hour shift premium, with overtime ~4–8 hours weekly after training.

Role focuses on setup and operation of yarn braiders, winders and braiders in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include transferring yarn to bobbins, deck transfers, monitor tensions, perform quality checks, and package products.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to operate forklift and manual/electric jack; company will train.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate yarn braiding machines and winders; transfer yarn from shipping spools to bobbins and maintain bobbin condition.
• Transfer full bobbins to braider decks and manage splicing during transfer.
• Monitor bobbin footage, yarn condition and tensions; ensure quality checks are performed.
