Job summary

Danfoss is hiring a Production Operator (Wire Wind) for the 3rd shift in Newbern, TN. You will operate and monitor wire-winding equipment, ensure product quality, and keep accurate production records in a safe, organized area.

Responsibilities include setup and material handling, in-process checks, and close collaboration with the team. A high school diploma or GED and ability to work nights are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Basic math and measurement skills for a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment and to learn machine-specific operating requirements.
• Ability to work the 3rd-shift schedule and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate wire-winding equipment per instructions and safety requirements.
• Set up, load, thread, and monitor wire and related materials used in winding.
• Observe machine operation and product condition; report abnormalities.
• Perform in-process quality checks and record production data accurately.
• Confirm materials and job information match the scheduled production order.
• Maintain 5S and good housekeeping in the assigned area.
• Follow all plant safety rules and standard work.
• Support changeovers and basic operator care as trained.
• Communicate production and quality concerns to the appropriate team.
• Work cooperatively with teammates and perform other duties as trained.
