Job summary

AdvancedPCB is seeking a reliable Wet Process Operator (Sander) to join our manufacturing team in California. The role requires working in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency to meet production goals.

You will perform process tasks, operate sanding equipment, read procedures, and help maintain safety and quality throughout the line. This full-time position offers weekend overtime, a 3rd shift schedule (11:00 pm–7:30 am), and opportunities to grow with a leading PCB solutions

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Able to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, as required, in support of departmental and company goals.
• Able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Excellent work ethics, detail oriented and self-motivated.
• Be a team player and work well with others.
• Able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), as required by work area.
• Able to safely work with chemicals.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Flexible and willing to cross-train in other areas.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand applicable Process Procedures and safety rules.
• Wet sand by hand using grit sand paper.
• Set up and operate Jitterbug and Mass Semi-automatic with minimal supervision.
• Use measuring devices such as eye loops and microscopes.
• Visually inspect panel’s quality and make required adjustments.
• Discontinue processing when a non-conforming condition is found and report it to management.
• Accurately complete all departmental quality and lot tracking documentation.
• Assist other operators, when time allows.
• Perform job related tasks as instructed by supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Perform all tasks and routine maintenance as required by Process Procedure.
