Job summary

Midwest Hose & Specialty is seeking a detail-oriented Weldmaster to join our Ducting Department. You will operate industrial welding equipment to fabricate, seal, and assemble flexible ducting products to exact specs.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, ability to read English, and the stamina to stand and lift up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities include operating weldmaster machines, performing quality checks, maintaining records, and supporting maintenance and safety in a collaborative warehouse

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent reading and writing skills in English.
• Prolonged standing, walking, stooping, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor weldmaster/heat sealing machines used in ducting production.
• Cut, align, and seal ducting materials according to production specifications.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure welds meet standards.
• Keep accurate records of materials used and products completed.
• Assist with general maintenance and cleaning of machines and workspace.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized environment.
