Job summary

Midwest Hose & Specialty seeks a Sewing Machine Operator to operate and maintain industrial sewing machines for fabric ducting production. You will work with a team to manage time, adjust processes, and ensure quality, while performing inventory and paperwork tasks as needed.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and adherence to safety standards. A high school diploma or GED and manufacturing experience are preferred, with bilingual Spanish & English valued.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in reading gauges and using tape measures to read specifications.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in production tasks.
• Good hand-eye coordination and steady manual dexterity.
• Ability to stand, walk, and handle repetitive motions for long periods.
• Comfort with a team environment and safety-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Adler and Miller Weld Master sewing machines for fabric assembly.
• Collaborate with production team to adjust processes and meet targets.
• Assist in inventory control and handle related paperwork and computer transactions.
