Job summary

Hose Master, LLC is seeking a production welder to read blueprints and work orders, verify quantities, and perform welded hose assemblies to spec. You will inspect welds, ensure fittings are correct, and maintain logs. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
• Basic welding experience required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
• Good basic math skills.
• Knowledge of standard tools, material and practices of welding trades.
• Knowledge of hose and fittings.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
• Verify orders for correct quantity and hose length.
• Perform inspection for correct hose and appropriate fittings.
• Determine correct alloy to be applied to all welds.
• Perform skilled welding – following standardized procedure for AMP and RPM.
• Learn job related material primarily through oral instruction and observation.
• Visually inspect completed welds to determine compliance with standards.
• Check quality and appearance of finished hose.
• Make appropriate repairs to assemblies that do not meet standards.
• Maintain daily production logs.
• Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self and others.
• Work cooperatively and jointly to provide a quality product.
• Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
