Job summary

The Northern Manufacturing Co., Inc in Oak Harbor, OH is seeking a Welder/Fabricator for the 3rd shift (4-10's). The role involves reading drawings and weld symbols, producing welds to tight tolerances, and inspecting welds across stainless, carbon, and aluminum materials. Previous MIG/TIG experience is preferred and safety is paramount.

Qualifications

• Understanding heat input and distortion control.
• Ability to problem solve and develop smart build strategies with little outside input.
• GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) welding on various materials.
• Weld inspection and proper defect repair.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand customer drawings, weld symbols, and tolerances.
• Hold linear dimensions, squareness, and flatness within tolerances.
• Produce welds of the correct size and shape with few defects.
