Job summary

Northern Manufacturing Co. in Oak Harbor, OH, is seeking an Automation / Robotic Weld Operator for 3rd shift (7:30pm–6:00am, Monday–Thursday) to join our Automation Team. You will set up, program and operate robotic welders and related automation equipment.

The role requires reading blueprints, working orders and routes, adjusting fixtures, monitoring robot performance and performing quality inspections. Safety, accuracy and independent work are essential in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic weld knowledge preferred.
• Experience with Fanuc robots preferred but not required.
• Experience using computer-based software.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings or willingness to be trained.
• Basic math skills for fabrication calculations.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate robotic welders and automation equipment.
• Read blueprints, work orders, and routes to follow instructions.
• Adjust fixtures and add controls to ensure part fabrication per instructions.
• Monitor robot performance and troubleshoot when needed.
• Perform visual inspections for quality parts.
• Load and unload materials.
• Follow safety protocols for equipment and position.
