Job summary

The High Companies is seeking qualified welder/fabricators in Lancaster, PA for a 3rd shift role. You will perform fitting, welding and finishing on structural steel products, including bridges and other structures, using Stick, MIG, or SA welding. A HS diploma or GED is required with 1–3 years of welding experience.

The position pays on a 3rd shift with a 25% differential and requires flexibility for overtime. Training for D1.5 certification is provided for those with D1.1 experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; welding/fabrication coursework preferred.
• 1–3 years welding experience in D1.1 or D1.5 required.
• Must be able to read prints and measurement specs; pass welding cert test.

Responsibilities

• Fit, layout, weld, finish, grind and fabricate structural steel units.
• Work from prints, spec tables and adjustable layout instruments.
• Potential overtime as demanded by business needs.
