Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints with geometric tolerance.
• Must pass Hendrickson weld test -2G or be a certified welder.
• Candidate must be able to lift up to 65 lbs.
• Ability to safely operate lift equipment, including forklift.
• Must be able to read and write legibly.
• Must meet production standards and follow instructions.
• Good attendance record required.
• Strong problem-solving skills requested.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Supply and operate welding systems, plasma cutters and make adjustments as needed.
• Lay out, position, and tack-weld parts to secure for welding.
• Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Conduct required quality checks using basic measuring equipment.
• Report daily activities on work orders and Kanban cards as required.
• Keep machine and work areas clean and free of safety hazards.
• Exercise and promote safe working habits.
• Comply with Quality Management System.
