Eaton Corporation is seeking a Welder for the 3rd shift at the ES GEIS BLD division. The role involves welding aluminum and steel, assembling parts, and reading engineering drawings, with a 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM shift.

Competenze

• Minimum of 1 year welding experience in a manufacturing environment (MIG/TIG).
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for long periods.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and tolerances.

Mansioni

• Perform simple repetitive tasks and assembly of parts and components.
• Use bolts, screws, hand tools, clips and other fastening devices.
• Operate welding unit, perform minor adjustments, and weld both aluminum and steel.
• Work under close supervision and may work from models, samples, or engineering drawings.
• Remove excess weld, slag, spatter, and rough spots from workpieces using grinders, brushes, chisels, or scrapers.
• Support Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives including 5-S, OEE boards, and Kaizen improvements.
