Job summary

Infotree Global Solutions is seeking a 3rd shift Welding Manufacturing Engineer to keep production running during 3rd shift in the Fabrication department at Davenport Works. You will support operators, maintenance, and salary staff while troubleshooting MES systems and both automated and manual welding processes.

The role requires weekend coverage as needed, and involves project or process development and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience with manual and robotic welding systems (Fanuc preferred).
• Ability to support production through execution of new or existing processes.
• Troubleshoot automated and/or manual processes.
• Ability to communicate in English, verbal and written.
• Ability to navigate ambiguous situations.
• Ability to work both independently and in a group.
• Document work and use Microsoft Excel/Outlook.

Job description

In this role as a 3rd shift welding manufacturing engineer, you will have responsibilities related to keeping production running during 3rd shift operations in the Fabrication department at Davenport Works.

Duties will include but not limited to, supporting operators, maintenance, and salary support staff.

This could include trouble shooting MES systems, automated or manual welding processes, training operators, and other production supporting related tasks.

This role will require weekend support depending on production needs.

Additional responsibilities will include project or process development and documentation.

3rd shift hours, 10pm to 6am. Overtime will be required. Weekend coverage will be required.
