Pennsylvania Steel Company, Inc. in Naugatuck, CT, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the 3rd shift. The role oversees the 3rd shift team, coordinates loading of trucks, and ensures operational paperwork is accurate and timely.

Hours are Sunday through Thursday, 11:00pm–7:30am. Salary ranges from $49,000 to $52,000 per year, with experience-based progression offered by an established steel service center.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret and evaluate procedures and specifications.
• Highly disciplined, problem-solver, logical thinking, troubleshooting team player with a strong work ethic.
• Basic arithmetic skills to calculate and convert decimals and fractions.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and guidance to 3rd shift team.
• Disciplinary action recommendations and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Assist with loading of trucks for material delivery.
• Assure work order related documents are completed correctly and on time.
• Exercise sound judgment and leadership for quality decisions.
• Notify serious matters related to safety, personnel or operational emergencies.
