Job summary

Pennsylvania Steel is seeking a dependable Warehouse Person for our 2nd Shift at the Throop, PA location. This full-time, permanent role contributes to receiving, stocking, and fulfilling customer orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include processing incoming stock, preparing orders, loading delivery trucks, maintaining a clean, safe workspace, and adhering to quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Must be able to stand and walk 8-10 hours daily.
• Must be able to read measuring equipment (tape measure, caliper, micrometer).
• Must have acceptable mathematical skills.
• Willing to be trained and operate industrial equipment including saws, cranes, forklifts and trailers.
• Willing to work overtime when required.
• Previous warehouse experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and processing incoming stock.
• Preparing and completing customer orders, including pulling and/or cutting stock material.
• Loading delivery trucks for customer delivery.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Communicating and cooperating with supervisors and coworkers.
• Operating and maintaining warehouse vehicles and equipment.
• Following the company's quality system.
• Complying with all company policies and procedures.
