Job summary

Pennsylvania Steel is seeking a dependable Warehouse Worker for the 3rd shift at our Throop, PA location. This full-time role involves receiving, stocking, and preparing customer orders, with emphasis on safety and accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include handling stock, cutting or prepping material to customer specifications, and operating warehouse equipment as needed. Overtime may be required; prior warehouse experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Able to stand and walk for 8-10 hours daily.
• Read measuring equipment (tape measure, caliper, micrometer).
• Must have acceptable mathematical skills.
• Willing to be trained and operate industrial equipment including saws, cranes, forklifts.
• Willing to work overtime when required.
• Previous warehouse experience in receiving, loading/unloading, packing, labeling or picking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and processing incoming stock.
• Preparing and completing customer orders, including pulling and/or cutting stock material.
• Keeping a clean and safe working environment.
• Communicating and cooperating with supervisors and coworkers.
• Operating and maintaining warehouse vehicles and equipment.
• Following the company’s quality system.
• Complying with all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
