Job summary

Pennsylvania Steel Co. in Throop, PA is hiring a Warehouse Worker for the 2nd shift. This full-time position involves receiving, stocking, and fulfilling customer orders, and maintaining a safe, organized warehouse.

You will operate warehouse equipment, read measuring tools, and work overtime as needed. Candidates should be able to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for long periods. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Must be able to stand and walk for 8-10 hours daily.
• Must be able to read measuring equipment (tape measure, caliper and micrometer).
• Must have acceptable mathematical skills.
• Must be willing to be trained and operate industrial equipment including saws, cranes, forklifts and standard tractor trailers.
• Must be willing to work overtime when required.
• Previous work experience receiving, loading/unloading material, packing, labeling or picking within a warehouse environment a plus

• Preparing and completing customer orders, including pulling and/or cutting stock material
• Keeping a clean and safe working environment
• Communicating and cooperating with supervisors and coworkers
