Job summary

Nordstrom in Dubuque is seeking an Operations Manager for the 3rd shift at the distribution center. You will oversee a team of about 20 hourly associates, drive safety, quality, productivity, and cost, and own the full operating picture of your department.

You will coach and develop staff, manage budgets, drive continuous improvement, recruit and onboard new team members, and partner across shifts to keep the operation running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in warehouse management experience.
• Proven CI actions delivering cost/service/quality improvements.
• Experience developing leaders and coaching direct reports.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing KPIs.
• Hands-on with warehouse management software and databases.
• Ability to analyze data and act on improvement opportunities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own shift-level financial results including budget and variances.
• Drive continuous improvement through problem-solving and process ownership.
