Job summary

The Nordstrom Cedar Rapids Fulfillment Center is seeking an Operations Manager for the 3rd shift (Saturday–Monday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM). You will lead a team of about 20 warehouse associates, own shift finances, and drive continuous improvement across shifts.

This is a high-responsibility role focused on safety, quality, and cost optimization. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of warehouse management experience, expertise in CI initiatives, and strong leadership of others.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse experience in a managerial role.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and implement cost/service/quality improvements.
• Proven track record in developing others and leadership growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of about 20 warehouse associates.
• Own shift-level financial results, monitor budget and variances.
• Drive continuous improvement through problem-solving and cross-shift coordination.
• Recruit, onboard, and train new team members.
• Partner across shifts and departments to keep the operation running.
