Job summary

Renewal by Andersen Corporation is seeking a Value Stream Supervisor for the 3rd shift at our Cottage Grove, MN manufacturing facility. You will lead a team, promote safety, and drive continuous improvement through standard work, 5S, and lean initiatives.

The role requires a 4-year degree or equivalent and 2–4 years of supervisory or lead experience, preferably in a logistics environment. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential to motivate teams and ensure quality and delivery

Qualifications

• 4 year degree or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of supervisory or work center lead experience.
• Experience in a logistics operation with demonstrated ability to apply continuous improvement, lean, and manufacturing system principles is a plus.
• Business acumen and knowledge: basic understanding of how a business runs and decisions.
• Strong communication skills: listening, 1:1 and group communication, presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high visibility with associates and involve them in problem solving.
• Promote safety and ensure a safe work environment and safe associate work habits.
• Develop a high performance work team with engagement, morale, satisfaction, and performance.
• Provide coaching and performance communication to support development.
• Ensure product quality levels through standard work, training, and inspection techniques.
• Support and implement lean processes, 5S, and housekeeping.
• Foster continuous improvement by encouraging associates to improve processes.
• Communicate with supervisors and personnel regarding equipment, schedules, policies, and performance improvements.
