Russel Metals USA Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Supervisor to manage all second-shift operations in our steel distribution and service center. You will lead production, warehouse, shipping, and material handling teams while ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery of customer orders.

You will oversee staffing, training, and performance, promote OSHA compliance, and drive continuous improvement. This full-time role offers benefits and growth within a major North American metals distributor.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of experience in a steel service center, manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Mansioni

• Oversee daily production, warehousing, shipping, receiving, and processing on the second shift.
• Coordinate workflow to ensure customer orders are processed accurately and shipped on time.
• Monitor productivity, equipment utilization, and labor efficiency.
• Prioritize workloads and adjust staffing to meet business demands.
• Provide direct supervision, coaching, and support to hourly employees.
• Conduct employee training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Lead daily shift meetings and communicate production goals and expectations.
