The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and knowledge of warehouse processes, with the ability to motivate staff and maintain high safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in warehouse/distribution or manufacturing roles preferred.
• Prior supervisory or team-leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of steel products and proper storage and location in a warehouse.
• Understanding of truck routing, shipping docs, and basic DOT rules.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and QMS training materials.
• Strong organization, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to delegate, motivate staff and promote teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure accuracy, safety, and efficiency.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound materials and truck movements.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and routine maintenance performed.
• Lead and coordinate work of drivers, material handlers, and loaders.
• Verify loading/unloading and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
