Job summary

Express Employment Professionals – Cincinnati East is seeking a 3rd Shift Supervisor for a South Indianapolis industrial site. You will lead a 10–20 person team, manage daily plant operations, and drive quality, safety and productivity targets.

Key duties include scheduling and distributing customer orders, assisting with production and shipping, team development, monitoring quality, achieving productivity goals, and completing RFQ forms with daily reports. Shift: 10:30 PM–7:30 AM.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of leadership experience.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn manufacturing processes.
• Effective communication and proficiency with MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and distribute customer orders to team and ensure orders are completed on time.
• Assist with production, shipping, forklift operation when needed
• Team development, follow up, and monitor
• Monitor quality practices and ensuring that quality performance targets are met.
• Ensure productivity targets are met and monitored, and correcting issues as needed.
• Complete RFQ forms and provide daily reports.

A DIRECT HIRE opportunity for 3rdShift Supervisor with a South Indianapolis industrial supply and processing company.

We are seeking a driven and passionate individual who can lead and inspire our team to achieve production goals. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our plant and ensuring that our team is meeting our quality, safety and productivity targets.

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of 10-20 individuals, with a focus on retention by creating a positive and supportive work environment. Leadership experience is required, but we are open to all levels of experience who possess the qualities necessary to effectively manage a team.

Mechanical aptitude is preferred for this role, as the Production Supervisor should have a general understanding of how fabrication equipment operates, along with a solid grasp of manufacturing processes. This knowledge is important to help ensure the team works safely, efficiently, and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Salary $70,000- $80,000 depending on experience + bonus
