Job summary

Mohawk Industries, Inc. is seeking a SUPERBA OPERATOR for the 3rd shift to safely operate heatset machinery and meet quality, production and efficiency goals.

Responsibilities include threading, repairing breakouts, yarn quality checks, creeling and winding, offloading finished packages, and complying with safety procedures. A high school diploma is preferred; training and safety programs are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of health and environmental safety training.
• Previous Yarn or Manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Threading and repair of breakouts to maintain efficiency.
• Proactively identify yarn quality during production runs.
• Select and stage tubes for winder operation.
• Doff finished yarn packages as required.
• Run creeling and winding sides when needed.
• Use black light to check for yarn mixes.
• Attend job-related training deemed necessary by supervision.
• Follow all standard operating and safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management.
