Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a skilled 3rd Shift Fitter to read blueprints and accurately fit structural steel assemblies. The role includes tack welding for pit welders and performing production MIG welding when fitting is not required.

You will weld structural steel, grind and polish welds, and use hand tools and measuring devices while maintaining 5S standards in a fast-paced environment. Ability to pass MIG tests and lift 50 lbs is essential.

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience with ability to pass 1G & 2G unlimited MIG weld test, including visual and bend testing.
• Experience reading blueprints and measuring with tape measure.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work 3rd shift in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to fit structural steel assemblies.
• Fit, align, and tack weld components for pit welders.
• Perform production MIG welding when fitting is not required.
• Weld structural steel assemblies for custom buildings.
• Grind and polish welds to meet quality standards.
• Use hand tools, grinders, and measuring tools; maintain clean work area.
• Regularly lift and move materials up to 50 lbs and follow safety rules.
