Job summary

Dauch Corporation's Bowling Green, OH plant seeks a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor for the 3rd shift to oversee inbound/outbound freight, material handling, and inventory control. The role leads a team of shipping/receiving associates and ensures accurate, timely movement of materials and finished goods.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of manufacturing experience with forklift operation, prior supervision, and the ability to work weekends and overtime.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 3 to 5 years manufacturing experience; forklift operator experience required.
• 2+ years supervising production staff preferred.
• Ability to work third shift hours, including weekends and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities, including inbound and outbound freight, material handling, and inventory control.
• Supervise, train, and develop a team of shipping/receiving personnel, including performance management, scheduling, and task delegation.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards within the shipping/receiving department.
• Supervise sorting, staging, and inventory handling operations to support production and customer requirements.
• Ensure shipping and receiving equipment is operated and maintained according to established procedures; coordinate repairs and maintain required supplies.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and organized work environment by enforcing safety policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices; promptly address and communicate potential hazards.
• Collect, analyze, and report shipping and receiving performance metrics, trends, and operational data to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support inventory accuracy through proper documentation and record retention practices.
• All other duties as assigned.
