Job summary

Quietflex Manufacturing, a Daikin Industries LTD. member, seeks a Shipping and Receiving Lead for 3rd shift. The role leads shipping/receiving activities, trains staff, and ensures on-time delivery with strict safety adherence.

Responsibilities include scheduling, documentation, material handling, and continuous improvement. Must have 3+ years in shipping and 1 year in a lead role, plus forklift experience and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in shipping or related field
• 1 year in a lead/trainer role
• Experience with warehouse management systems
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Ability to train, coach and mentor others
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance

Responsibilities

• Train and guide employees to ensure on-time delivery and safe handling of products
• Assist management with work assignments, scheduling, procurement of parts, and communicating production demands
• Prepare and store production cards, scrap tickets, and necessary documentation
• Operate material handling equipment including forklifts and reach trucks
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and participate in implementing processes
• Ensure adherence to all safety procedures and housekeeping standards
• Substitute for missing personnel as needed
• Perform pre- and post-safety checks on equipment and lifts
• PTAC system operations: receiving, storing, cycle counting, picking, staging, and shipping units
