Senior Production Manager in Sanford, NC, will coordinate material, equipment, manpower, quality and meeting production schedules to ensure customer satisfaction. The primary location is Sanford, NC with a Monday–Thursday 7:00 PM–6:00 AM shift and an 8% shift premium. Domestic relocation is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 7+ years manufacturing management
• Proven cross-functional leadership leading managers
• Lean Manufacturing implementation projects and expertise
• Knowledge of assembly processes and manufacturing operations
• Strong business acumen with cost, safety, and headcount insight
• Ability to build cooperative relationships inside and outside the department
• Thorough knowledge of Lean Manufacturing processes

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing, development, and performance management programs for operations staff; lead, motivate, and develop the management team.
• Oversee operations activities to ensure safety, schedules, and performance requirements are met; optimize resource use.
• Drive improvements in overall operations performance and implement production safety, cost and quality controls.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and safety policies; drive operations excellence.
• Audit and report on safety, quality, certification, standard work, productivity, and overall equipment effectiveness metrics.
