Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Product Assembler 2 for the 3rd shift in Sanford, NC. You will assemble/test parts and systems for BCP machines, rotate through positions, and ensure safe, defect-free assembly using standard procedures and blueprints.

Work involves lifting up to 35 lbs, operating various tools, and contributing to a clean, efficient work area while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and CPS principles.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of heavy equipment machine assembly experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble/test parts, components, or systems for BCP machines according to work orders and other duties.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area.
• Rotate to various positions within the Job Function area to perform related activities.
• Use tools to perform assembly duties and may lift heavy components (>35 lbs).
• Follow standard work procedures, routings and blueprints for safe, defect-free assembly and adjustment.
