Job summary

JBS USA is seeking an hourly Sanitation Trainer for the 3rd shift to lead training on sanitation procedures within a meat processing facility. You will develop and deliver hands-on training to maintain a clean and safe work environment for all team members.

The ideal candidate has sanitation operations experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to train staff on safety protocols, PPE use, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in sanitation operations in a meat processing environment.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation protocols, regulations, and best practices in the meat industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and educate employees.
• Ability to demonstrate and explain proper sanitation procedures clearly.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify areas for improvement.
• Flexibility to adapt training methods to different learning styles and skill levels.
• Basic knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive sanitation training program for operations in a meat processing facility.
• Create training materials, manuals, and visual aids to support the program.
• Conduct hands-on training sessions for new hires and existing staff.
• Demonstrate and guide proper sanitation activities, including cleaning and sanitizing.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations during training.
• Train employees on safety protocols, PPE use, and chemical handling.
• Maintain training records and evaluate program effectiveness.
• Collaborate with sanitation team and management; communicate updates to procedures.
