Job summary

Oberto Snacks, Inc. in Kent, WA, is seeking a Sanitation Technician for the 3rd shift. The role focuses on sanitation and release of manufacturing equipment to support timely startups and HACCP compliance.

This is a hands-on, non-janitorial position that involves cleaning large processing equipment. We offer a competitive hourly wage of $20.00–$21.00 with a $1.00 shift differential for 3rd shift, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months to 1 year sanitation with large manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Experience in a food processing or HACCP environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning of raw processing departments and weekly cleaning of finished processing and packaging departments.
• Meet company and USDA specifications by cleaning and sanitizing machines to ensure morning production crews can start on time.
• Heavy lifting 25lbs–50lbs.
• Spray machine parts and equipment with cleaners, sanitizers, and hoses.
• Mix cleaning solutions and other compounds per formulas to ensure proper cleaning.
• Perform lock-out tag-out on machines when working on and cleaning machines.
