Job summary

Oberto Snacks, Inc. in Kent, WA is seeking a Sanitation Technician for the 3rd shift. You will clean raw processing areas daily and assist with weekly cleaning of finished areas to meet USDA standards, ensuring production can start on time.

The position is onsite, 5 days, 8 hours per shift, 10:15pm–6:30am, with overtime as needed. Wage is $20.00 per hour plus $1.00 shift differential for the 3rd shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months to 1 year sanitation experience with large manufacturing equipment/janitorial work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning of raw processing departments.
• Weekly cleaning of finished processing and packaging departments (Sundays).
• Ensure machines are cleaned to meet USDA specs so morning production can start on time.
• Heavy lifting 25lbs.–50lbs.
• Clean and sanitize machine parts and equipment.
• Mix cleaning solutions and sanitize as required.
• Mix and dispense hand sanitizers.
• Inspect cleanliness and compliance; perform lock-out/tag-out on machines.
