Job summary

US Waffle in Hazelwood, MO, is seeking a Sanitation Technician to support 3rd shift operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The role focuses on cleaning and sanitizing processing areas to meet SQF and GMP standards.

This non-exempt, full-time position requires adherence to safety policies, the ability to stand for extended periods, and good English communication. Training on SSOP and GMP will be provided to ensure quality and safety across the plant.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow instructions in English (oral and written).
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Self-directed with good time management.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review production schedule and coordinate with planner/shift changes to meet production schedule.
• Clean and sanitize processing equipment and facilities.
• Prevent cross-contamination of products and surfaces during sanitation.
• Follow all Sanitation SOPs (SSOP) for cleaning equipment and facilities.
• Perform pre-inspection of clean equipment before supervisor approval.
• Complete sanitation and SQF documentation.
• Maintain cleaning carts and tools and sanitation equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by sanitation supervisor.
