Job summary

RESRG Automotive seeks an hourly Robotics Technician for its Covington, GA facility on 3rd shift (Mon-Fri, 10:50 PM–7:00 AM). You will report to the Robotics Maintenance Supervisor and perform daily checks, EOAT inspections, and program implementations to support molding operations.

The role requires experience with Fanuc robots and injection molding, strong communication, and a continuous improvement mindset. Occasional travel and flexibility for overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Fanuc robot experience preferred.
• 1–3 years of injection molding experience preferred.
• Familiar with molding operation and robot programming preferred.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in developing interpersonal relationships.
• Analytical problem solver with a mindset of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily checks to ensure parts de-gate correctly.
• Inspect EOAT for repair needs and review/approve new EOAT.
• Implement photo eyes, sensors, cameras, etc.
• Mentor and train other technicians.
• Support and assist all new program launches.
• Investigate and implement new technologies for automation in molding.
• Focus on a no-touch automation setup.
• Process moldings to quality standards.
• Adhere to plant policies, procedures and work instructions.
• Maintain 5-S in molding area and organize tools/equipment.
• Develop ideas to improve cycle times.
• Complete production tasks per procedures and work instructions.
• Own department goals for quality, productivity, and safety.
