Job summary

Moriroku Technology North America is seeking an Automation Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production automation equipment in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.

The role involves installing utilities, calibrating machines to OEM specs, programming 3- to 6-axis robots, and configuring vision systems for quality inspection, while adhering to MTNA safety policies and supporting continuous production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in automation/robotics preferred.
• Proven experience in industrial automation, preferably automotive manufacturing.
• Experience with injection molding is a plus.
• OEM certifications from Keyence, Cognex, Allen Bradley, Yaskawa/Motoman, Fanuc preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production automation equipment following safety policies.
• Install utilities and equipment for injection molding, paint, and assembly lines.
• Program and tune robotic arms and vision systems for part inspection and pick-and-place tasks.
• Work with PLCs (Allen Bradley, Keyence, Cognex, etc.) to support production equipment.
• Maintain preventive maintenance records and ensure ISO/IATF compliance.
