Position Summary -

• As a Resident Care Specialist, you will provide hands-on care and support to residents while ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity. You will assist with daily living activities, administer medications, and contribute to a clean, engaging, and supportive home environment.
• This role is ideal for individuals who are compassionate, attentive, and committed to delivering high-quality, person-centered care.

What You'll Do -

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and basic hygiene
• Support mobility, ambulation, transferring, repositioning, and overall comfort
• Encourage and assist residents with meals, hydration, and snacks
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition, behavior, or health status
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, following all policies and procedures
• Accurately document care and medication administration in accordance with MAR requirements
• Verify medication orders and ensure proper labeling, dosage, and administration
• Assist with kitchen and dining tasks including meal preparation, serving, and cleanup
• Perform general housekeeping and laundry duties
• Engage residents in activities and encourage participation to enhance quality of life
• Communicate effectively with team members, leadership, and families
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
