Job summary

Cherry Hill Haven of Kalkaska is seeking compassionate and dependable Resident Care Specialists for 2nd shift on a part-time or full-time basis. You will provide hands-on care to residents, assist with daily living activities, medications, and create a safe, welcoming home environment.

Ideal candidates are compassionate, attentive, and committed to person-centered care, with a focus on dignity and resident privacy.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and dependable caregiving abilities.
• Strong attention to medication handling and documentation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and basic hygiene.
• Support mobility, transfers, and overall comfort for residents.
• Encourage Meals, hydration, and snacks; monitor intake.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, following policies.
• Document care and medication administration accurately in MAR systems.
• Assist with kitchen and dining tasks and light housekeeping.
• Engage residents in activities to enhance quality of life.
• Communicate effectively with team members and families.
