Job summary

Acara Solutions is seeking a hands-on Repair Mechanic in Walpole, MA to support high-volume filling and packaging equipment. The role covers setup, calibration, repairs, and troubleshooting to keep daily production running safely.

This temp-to-hire position offers a 3rd shift, 11:00 pm–7:30 am, and a 40-hour week with $30/hour compensation. The ideal candidate has 1+ year experience, a high school diploma, and solid mechanical and troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of experience setting up, calibrating, or repairing manufacturing machinery.
• Experience with computers and office applications.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical understanding.
• Ability to work autonomously or in small groups.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and repair high-volume filling and packaging machinery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve routine manufacturing equipment issues.
• Record and maintain maintenance activities using Cal PM software.
• Communicate equipment and production line performance during daily team huddles.
